Before starting Whole Healthy Living, I would drink 3-4 bottles of soda a day. I stopped drinking soda the day I started the program. Whole Healthy Living helped me to completely eliminate my stomach problems. I no longer have painful stomach attacks and no longer take stomach medicine. I had bad eating habits and knew I needed to change my diet. Also I didn’t realize how much I ate out. Now I cook more often and most of my shopping is done in the produce department. I have learned to eat healthy meals and no longer have cravings for foods that caused a lot of my problems. Even better I have lost 50lbs and I am confident that I will reach my weight loss goals. I have a long history of dieting and poor food choices. I became an RN in 2009 and was forced to learn more about good nutrition and balance meals. I have even been required to teach diets and food choices to my patients for health improvement. I start with this information only to express how surprised, delighted, and thankful I was to find out I didn’t know much about health training. I have learned that it takes more than good food choices to feel good and be healthy. The program was personalized, which helps you to focus. I struggle with time. I very busy and stressed out all the time. The time I spent on phone calls for my sessions become therapeutic because it forced me to take time for me. I felt too busy to be on the phone but at the same time I needed this information. I believe the key to this program is planning, planning, planning. The information was never complicated. What impressed me most was the information was not overwhelming and the changes were small and a little at a time. I called them baby steps.
LaDonnia, I really don’t know where to start. I’ve been blessed by your presence, your poise and now I’m being blessed by your purpose. The purpose God has called you too, to promote health and wellness to the body of Christ. I thought about the words “Whole Healthy and Living” and I compared them to their opposite “Half unhealthy and dead”. TO MY AMAZEMENT John 3:19-21 came to life for me in my current eating situation. Vs 19 “This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. Vs 20 “Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed.” Vs 21 “But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.” My eating the wrong things has the potential to turn into something EVIL. Destructive. An early DEATH. Thank you for being patient as the Lord works out that dark area of my life. I pray that God continues to bless you and that you continue to be a blessing to me and our entire church family.
